Genevieve and Scott Kelley are charged with abducting their daughter Mary Nunes. The above photo to the right is an age-enhanced photo of Mary created this year to show what she may look at age 17. AMW aired the case once in 2007 but I missed the episode she was featured on so I have no clue as to how long the profile was. Eight-year old Mary Nunes was last seen on October 22, 2004 in Whitefield, New Hampshire. Authorities say she was abducted by her mother Genevieve and her stepfather Scott. Mary suffers from arteriovenous malformations which I read can cause internal bleeding and can even result in death. Her parents were suspected of committing medical neglect and failed to appear for a court hearing. In the past, Genevieve had accused Mary's biological father of sexually abusing the young girl, although authorities never found evidence to prove that. Genevieve and Scott also fled with two horses, neither of which were ever located. Genevieve has worked as a flight surgeon for the US Air Force and was known of have been pregnant when she disappeared. Scott has worked as a special education teacher and speaks Spanish. Mary can also speak Spanish. Thoughts? I believe the three have fled the United States, although taking the horses across the border may be difficult and therefore they could have sold them for cash. They may be doing missionary work in either Latin America or Canada according to what I've read. Admin Note: Scott and Genevieve Kelley have now been captured and Mary has been recovered. Genevieve Kelley's custodial interference trial is scheduled for May of this year. www.charleyproject.org/cases/n/nunes_mary.htmlen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arteriovenous_malformationwww.newhampshirelakesandmountains.com/CallPage-8062.113119-Where-is-Mary-Nunes.html

For some reason Scott Kelley looks awfully familiar although I can't quite put my finger on why.
In any case, it wouldn't surprise me if they were still in rural America. They could try to pass themselves as a typical regular family and try to blend into a community somewhere.

This is one of New England's worst child abduction cases ever! Genevieve Mary Kelley and Scott Kelley were doing skilled occupations, probably had gone through lots of college classes, and then they take an urgently ill child on the run! I hope Mary Nunes is still alive, but sadly, they might be hiding somewhere that few people ever pass through. AMW should've gone after Genevieve and Scott like they did Roger and Linda Mae Crouch (Captures #541 and #542) and kept at it until Nunes could be recovered safely!

So I guess the question has to be asked. Will The Hunt air Genevieve and Scott Kelley this season? Walsh said 2 cases the most, so the next episode will probably only be Jacob Wetterling and the Dimitrions (even the Dimitrions aren't guaranteed since they cut out the Kelleys).
The only silver lining in them not getting an airing is perhaps it's a sign they're going to have a season 2 and are saving them for it (putting them in the same episode as Matthew Dion should the Hunt decide to profile that case would be perfect).

Unexpected major update from tonight's show, Genevieve Kelly called the DA's office to surrender earlier this year but still hasn't! Genevieve, if you're reading this, do the right thing, and let Mark see Mary again.

Should also mention I didn't know about the calls and hang-ups from Brazil in the past 10 years. But yeah, Genevieve, if you really love your daughter, you'll let her see her father.

What a day for The Hunt! Hours after the Stoeser discovery, Genevieve Kelley has turned herself in! This is good news, but we still need to see what happens with Mary Nunes next.

Maybe I'm grasping at straws here, but considering she surrendered, there could be a slight chance she did thanks to pressure from The Hunt.

Wow it's The Hunt's first living capture! I don't know what the deal is with her surrendering and still not wanting to reveal where Mary Nunes is. Hopefully we get answers soon. Also since Stoeser and Kelley were on The Hunt, will cnn.com do stories on the updates?

John Walsh just posted about Stoeser on his Facebook page. However, The Hunt's website hasn't updated just yet. I'm sure they will.
And yes, Genevieve Kelley is the first fugitive from The Hunt's first season that we know for sure is alive. But it's hard for me to celebrate not knowing about Mary yet.
