This past Sunday, there was a memorial service for murder victims Terry and Darleen Anderson. The couple were found beaten to death in their Mungo Indiana home on October 21st, 2005. The case was profiled on AMW.com as a web-exclusive case.
It is hard to find a lot of details on the murder but a few more are found on a message board I discovered that discusses the murder that the Andersons' daughter has posted in:
A few things that are gathered is the murder seems to be disguised as a robbery, not much was taken from the home (According to their daughter's posts, just a few guns and crossbows but no arrows, and a few collectors coins). According to one post on that board, they were beaten to death but not found in the same place. Terry is described as an avid fisherman and colorful character.
What is a bit shocking is according to the Anderson's daughters posts, a lot of her family has NOT been helping her efforts to get answers.
Thoughts? I hate to say it but where I'm leaning towards is that a family member is responsible for this crime, especially considering how they for some reason they have not been helping her daughter's massive efforts to solve this case. The murders seemed brutal and personal.
If it's not a family member, even Terry and Darleen's daughter seems to feel it is someone very close to them and I agree.
Also, if anyone can find any more links to shed more light on this it would be appreciated. Here is the story about the memorial along with some other links:
