I'm a bit confused since CNN says Sabrina's not back home yet, but the FBI press release says she was reunited with her father. In any case, I assume she may not be "home" yet even if she saw Greg. Also, sorry if this sounds controversial. I remember an interview on CNN where John Walsh said the most important mission AMW has is protecting women and children. I agree, and far as I'm concerned, those are the main priorities of this forum as well. But dare I say there has been a male bias in all the idiotic comments I've seen on the internet from people saying so what her mother took her? These people commenting obviously just saw "mother kidnaps daughter" and in today's A.D.D. world did nothing to research the background of story and the events that led to the kidnapping. They obviously did not see the AMW segment and knew nothing about the case. If the roles had been reversed, and Greg had kidnapped Sabrina instead, how many people do you think would be calling it a "family issue" instead of a kidnapping? I'm sick of these assumptions that just because Dara was the mother, it means it was ok for her to kidnap her own daughter without anyone's consent, especially when she didn't have custody. People really need to read before commenting. How much do you want to bet if Alicia Banuelos and/or our exclusive-fugitive Leticia Martinez are ever captured and their non-custodial daughters are recovered, people will be making the same comments, not reading up and realizing they were wanted for MURDER? In any case, Greg Allen has released a video on the Find Sabrina page, asking for donations to a GoFundMe campaign to help Sabrina's adjustment back into life in the U.S. If anyone wants to visit and/or donate, the link is below: www.gofundme.com/e05fac

This is extremely good news but my father and I are sadly not very optimistic that Sabrina will ever be able to fully recover from this. I'm not sure how she would interact with the rest of Greg Allen's children or if she would even want to. The good news is that Sabrina at least knew she had been kidnapped, and it sounds like she at least does want to see her father. That's more that can be said about other kidnappings (see the very complicated story of Bobby and Christi Baskin). I don't think anybody has posted this, but a photo of Sabrina has finally been released. As you can see, she clearly looks drastically different; her hair is now black and she obviously looks like a teenager now, but at the same time, there are still similarities. Look at her face, for example; there are similar features to the photo that was released. www.myfoxaustin.com/story/26691299/new-photo-of-sabrina-allen-released

Little update regarding the case. Dara Llorens has been offered a plea deal, but according to her attorney, she will reject any deal that keeps her away from Sabrina. Meanwhile, Sabrina has returned to the US, and according to the private detective Greg hired to track them down, she's adjusting well with her father and her new family. While the fact that she's having a good relationship with her father is terrific news, I find it laughable that Dara still wants to be in her life. She took 12 years of father/daughter time away from Greg, she should be thankful with what she gets. www.myfoxaustin.com/story/28074083/possible-plea-deal-in-sabrina-allen-abduction-case

Whatever the deal with his, Sabrina needs a new years away from her. And then when she's a young adult and attending college or whatever, then she can decide if she wants anything to do with her mother when she fully realizes what she did to her. I'm not saying she shouldn't forgive her eventually but she needs some time away. Thank goodness Sabrina was recovered before she turned 18, or all the shenanigans we've seen in the Genevieve Kelley case may have happened here.

Llorens has been sentenced to 6 years in prison. A relatively light sentence but at least unlike the Genevieve Kelley/Mary Nunez case, Sabrina has been reunited with her father and can spend time with him for the next few years. (And in six years, then she can decide if she wants to forgive Dara for what she did to her and have her in her life as well.) www.foxnews.com/us/2016/03/31/mother-gets-6-year-term-for-fleeing-to-mexico-with-daughter.htmlThe saddest part is Sabrina and her father can never get back the time they lost together but at least Dara is paying a price for what she did. I hope the sentence also sends a message that parental kidnapping is still kidnapping and is usually done out of revenge, not love.
