I unfortunately narrowed it down somewhat in that by talking about them in present tense it is pretty obvious neither Ausiello or Hibbs is the direct result death. We were talking about how we wouldn't be surprised if at least Ausiello is dead from all that heavy drug use though.

Unfortunately I have an obligation tonight (much less fun than visiting the hotline unfortunately) so it may be a day or two before I can update the forum about episode 11.

Made it time to watch show after all. Will try to update little by little. Good episode tonight, and as tragic as the case is, I loved John Walsh making fun of Cardenas's portly physique in the recap. "He's 300 pounds, so he shouldn't be too hard to spot."
Also In Pursuit notoriously has trouble profiling Philly cases as usually their P.D. won't participate, so it's important they actually got to do one on Justin Smith.
Can't believe next week is the season finale!

Last night's episode was very good. The only issue was that the episode I saw up here in Canada had an issue with the speaking voices. It seemed like the background music was at a higher volume than the speaking voices. I still could understand most of what was said.

I don't know what's going on with In Pursuit in Canada lately lol

And that's a wrap for Season 4. One new 15 SOS case and one new missing case I need to add to site over next few days. things picked up a little. Last year I believed we had no captures not even a 15 seconds of shame to end the season, and this year we have two 15 seconds of shamers captured (three if you count Dawn Wynn accidentally getting aired on the Canadian version which thankfully didn't hinder her impending apprehension) along with a missing child recovered. So yeah not as bad as last year after all and full segment or 15 SOS I'll take it and be cautiously optimistic we'll see more captures soon!
And yeah fingers crossed for the direct capture/revealed deceased result, but as we know those can take months, I can't go into much detail since family hasn't been notifiied since it's not official, but if it becomes official, I don't think it will be anyone here's first or even second guess and will be pretty shocking. I'll check in January when production supposedly starts up again if they ever verified even though they seemed pretty confident at the hotline (there's a certain issue holding things back but I'd reveal too much if I said what the issue was).
Also apologies as I thought the post-show capture special was a repeat of the August episode, apparently it's talking about additional captures- but it's mainly just like the first special and just a recap of the segments already aired and they're mentioned at the end with just some brief update or snippet- not meant as a criticism but there's not a lot of new content.
But yeah production should start again in January in theory for the next season. Fingers crossed for a few more captures before then though!

Haven't heard anything- I guess I'll be less vague now- basically one of the fugitives is believed to have died in a jail in a foreign country- the problem is that jail closed so they were having trouble verifying. So not sure if turned out to be a bunch of crazy coincidences and it wasn't them and/or it was just unfortunately impossible to 100 percent verify. In retrospect, I don't think that's giving away too much but unfortunately it wasn't a jail currently around.

I’m so curious as to who it is or which country exactly this individual was found in, honestly I’ve had this on my mind for months to be honest.

I feel like we would have heard by now if it was him but who knows if that jail hold up was the issue.

Just a note as I don't want to panic anyone- but I reached out last month and a half ago to inquire as to when production for Season 5 would start and was told that they just had to wait to be officially renewed. Usually this is standard- every season they have to wait to be officially renewed regardless of how good or bad they do in the ratings the previous season.
But.. Now they haven't updated Facebook in a month- even during the Francisco Oropeza manhunt and the Facebook missing and wanted group hasn't had any new posts in a month either.
I reached out to their Facebook page and I'll let everyone know if they get back to me. I don't want to bother our one true source here too much.
It is possible I'm panicking for no reason and perhaps the writer's strike is somehow affecting the show- in theory it shouldn't- as it is usually scripted serial dramas and sitcoms and late night shows- but who knows- In Pursuit does have a technical script as well.
I don't think John Walsh retiring (if he ever decides to retire) would affect anything since Cal would in theory just do the show on his own.
So I just want to prepare everyone just in case. Don't get upset just yet.
I'm hoping like in the first Covid year they're just getting off to a later start to working and perhaps later start to the new season than usual (tbh I liked it better when they were January to March/April but Covid delayed things).

I'm going to be honest- I feel like In Pursuit is at the very least in some kind of limbo- I have tried contacting them on social media etc... They've gone silent even with the missing and wanted Facebook group. My concern level sort of increases every week we don't get any answers, as if the show was to begin in August as usual, they'd at least be doing casting calls by now. I also saw a Facebook show where someone commented their case that In Pursuit was going to do a segment on their case but they pulled it at the last minute. (Granted that person also mentioned going on a political rant to producers, but no one cares about party affiliations when it comes to wanting to bring a fugitive to justice).
These fugitive shows go in spurts and such, so who knows what the future holds, and nothing should be assumed until something is official, but I'm going to be honest, right now I'm kinda frustrated.

My concern is also that IPWJW is now under the Warner Bros umbrella, and they've been criticized for canceling shows even if they're popular for cost cutting measures albeit mostly on the HBO Max service. You'd think they'd want to keep IP and all the good it does to offset the bad publicity over that but who knows.

OK, I see they did update Kayla Unbehaun being recovered on the ID crimefeed page for In Pursuit, so that's some positive news, however the Facebook page and group is still silent.
