I'm honestly not going to delve much into this case. I agree with Scumhunter that the FBI should prioritize publicizing violent domestic focused fugitives. This goes for their entire website, including the Ten Most Wanted List.

Just wanted to mention this but everyone knows how for the longest time Jason Brown was the most talked about fugitive and the most tips came in on him while he was on the list? Well Ignatova appears to be the most talked about Top Ten Fugitive on TikTok compared to other fugitives. I wonder if TikTok is what eventually leads to her capture.

I think because of the international but also the bitcoin aspect, it makes it more interesting to TikTok-ers who are normally on the younger side. (I'm older than you and look at TikTok too lol, just in general it's a younger social media site than others).

I think Social media will help in this case. My hope is also that facial recognition in passport technology will help track her down.

On the subject of reward increases, I personally would’ve thought out of the current fugitives on the list listed at large that Ignatova would’ve gotten her reward increased because there was an article that pointed this out and multiple people on comment sections of TikTok and YouTube videos of her as the subject matter, always commenting the same thing “$100K for a woman who stole $4 Billion, what a joke”.

There are now rumors that Ignatova was actually killed on a yacht in Greece back in 2018. A hit was put on her by a Bulgarian drug lord it is claimed. At the moment she is still on the top ten list, and this in my opinion should only be treated as an unverified and no hard evidence rumor unless/until the FBI ever says otherwise. financefeeds.com/onecoin-founder-ruja-ignatova-allegedly-murdered-by-drug-lord/

However it’s just a rumor so I won’t dissect too much into them at the moment. This comes nearly a month after Ruja Ignatova allegedly with the help of lawyers wanted to claim a penthouse in London, England that was about to be put up for auction in January 2023. I feel like Ignatova isn't dead, since she’s known to have friends in high places, these rumors were likely spread to throw off authorities as to where she truly is, so I think she’s likely still alive but living lavishly in the United Arab Emirates, specifically somewhere in Dubai, she allegedly has a lot of money and can sustain a lifestyle out there. beincrypto.com/uk-property-ruja-ignatova-cryptoqueen/

The fact that murdered by a drug lord if it turns out to be false was the story they went with (or you never know but for now a false rumor) as opposed to just her randomly falling off a yacht tells me perhaps there's more than what's being said as to why. I'm still annoyed by this addition. I think she's very catchable. I just feel there were other fugitives who are in theory way more dangerous than a bitcoin scammer that were more suited for this list.

I just want to add in light of Wilmer Villegas-Palomino being added, I take back my criticism of the Ignatova addition. At least Ignatova adds variety as a foreign female fugitive and reflected the new century with the bitcoin aspect. Adding a poor man's Pablo Escobar cocaine kingpin makes a lot less sense imo.

Latest report from the BBC now suggesting that there is a possibility that Ignatova is dead - killed by the organised crime figures paid to protect her: "In 2022, Bulgarian investigative journalist Dimitar Stoyanov (was) handed a police report that had been found at the home of a murdered Bulgarian police officer.
In the document, a police informant details overhearing Taki’s brother-in-law drunkenly saying Ms Ignatova had been murdered on Taki’s orders in late 2018, and her body dismembered and dumped off a yacht in the Ionian Sea. Mr Stoyanov says this account is “very, very possible”.
The authenticity of the police document was confirmed by Bulgarian officials, and multiple criminal associates of Taki believe the theory he had her murdered to be true, Mr Stoyanov says".
And also: "The associates’ rationale being that the wanted Ms Ignatova became a liability to Taki, who wished to eliminate his links to the OneCoin fraud."Link to the full article
