Thanks for the articles, yeah in retrospect the M.O. doesn't seem to fit, I just felt there were too many circumstantial coincidences for Cox to not be involved. I don't have an answer as to motivation, only that he fits a timeline.

I live in Springfield but wasn’t born until 1993 this case is bizarre from what I’ve heard and read they pretty much know who did but they don’t believe the bodies will be found. I know I’ve asked this quite a bit but does anyone know if this segment that was shown on AMW in 1992 was a full blown re-enactment with actresses re-enacted the events of the night they went missing? Or was it just a news story that John Walsh shared with no Re-enactment included? Also if anyone has the segment that AMW showed in 1992 and can somehow get it uploaded to YouTube i along with several others who follow this case would love to see it. Thanks

Thanks An AMW segment of the Springfield Three from it's July 1992 broadcast is uploaded YouTube and is shown here. It is a news story since AMW to my knowledge rarely did reenactments for missing people.

It took a lot of digging, but I did find a composite sketch of a suspicious man seen just outside the Levitt household not long before the women vanished. This is a screenshot from a news report. Attachments:

Just a thought, but am I the only one who thinks that composite somewhat resembles Larry DeWayne Hall?

I would love to hear what the transient’s physical characteristics were. Hall is short: only 5’5” or 5’6”, and if that was the height of the suspicious person, that will make me more convinced that he is a good suspect.

I looked up on Reddit and there are claims that he actually said “I didn’t know her but we did kill the Springfield three” on some sort of ID channel show. I’m also seeing some comments that he admitted but later recanted. So it does look like he has been a suspect https://www.reddit.com/r/springfieldthree/comments/18usq9n/larry_hall_in_the_springfield_area_on_june_6_1992/ www.reddit.com/r/UnsolvedMysteries/comments/v4n86z/springfield_missing_three/

To me, that’s indicative of someone who had abducted/killed before, and Hall would certainly fit that bill. I’m completely convinced that the abductor had done something like this in the past. Also concerning is that if the three women are indeed dead, their remains are still missing. If memory serves, there are several cases where Hall is the prime suspect and his victim’s remains haven’t been found.

From the Springfield, MO newspaper ten days after the disappearances occurred. The man depicted in the sketch, at the time of the disappearances, was 34-38 (making him 66-70 today), 5’8” to 5’9”, about 145 pounds. Another clue: this person also had a tan, freckled complexion.
