You'd have to wonder which fugitives on the current list aren't getting any tips coming in on them anymore.
Glen Godwin was removed because tips weren't coming in and I wonder if the FBI has the same fate fixed for those who aren't bringing in tips from the public?
Personally I'd like to keep the current at large 9 regardless, but the FBI throws some serious curveballs that are unexpected like Godwin's Removal.

Admittedly, Godwin was a bit of a shock to me but Mogilevich was not that surprising and the first fugitive removed since 2007. I guess we can expect curveballs based on recent history, but not overall history so I wouldn't worry too much about any more surprises.
We have no idea what's going on with tips on some fugitives. I'm sure perhaps tips for Gerena have slowed down, but it's really a matter of the Cuba regime and U.S. relations thawing and them sending him back,

Honestly I agree when Godwin was taken off the list it felt very bitter sweet because of course he had been on the list a long time and we needed a more newer and more recent fugitive on the list, But sad he didn't come off the list as a capture.
also off topic but I changed my name from toptenhunter to armchairsleuth as I aim to expand beyond top ten fugitives and cover more ground with the Marshals Top 15 and other AMW cases I haven't read about in years which caused me to change my name lol.

I wanted to give all the forum members a huge throwback to what the top ten list looked like 10 years ago compared to how it looks now and it's changed dramatically, only 2 fugitives from 2006 are on the list today, in particular Robert Fisher, he was the 7th longest running fugitive on the list at the time, at 4 years and now a decade later he's the 2nd longest running fugitive on the current list at 14 years, really of all fugitives I'm more shocked about how long Fisher has lasted on the list. Statistically a decade ago it would have taken no more then 5 years to capture him, but he's clearly defied this by 9 years.

Not related to The Hunt but I have to say I haven't come out with any contenders as i wanted to wait till they add a recent fugitive to the murders section, but I have been having a hunch the FBI is going to maybe add Caris Ayala, dunno it's been a hunch I've had for the last 3 days, but again it may just be me, I'm surprised they actually stickied her to the top of the murders section just as I had this go on.

They randomly sticky fugitives for whatever reasons so I wouldn't look too much into it. Although it would be something if after 9 years of no female fugitives on the list, they had three in one year.

That is true if she's added it marks a huge milestone for the top ten list that hasn't been seen since 1970.
Now speaking about the Murders section, in a way Caris Ayala struck me as a potential but not up at the top as she is currently.
Her case stands out from the others on the murder section because it involved children and many of the fugitives added since Mogilevich's removal have involved a child (except Delgado).
This is likely the reason why Patel hasn't been added so far.
At this point it'd be good to transition to CAC fugitives for a change, but we'll see.

I was thinking since Jorge Landeros' episode is upcoming this season, I was wondering if the week before the airing he'd be likely to be added to the ten most wanted list? It's a perfect storm since there is a slot open.

The things is they filled the slots previously having no idea if a slot would even be open for Landeros to wind up on it. Unless they had a plan like "If Gerena's still not captured by then replace him with Landeros" I don't think they originally planned on it. But perhaps they might go "hey now that he's airing this might be a good idea." I dunno. Part of me is wondering why his scheduled episode was skipped over in the first place and if it's one of those cases where the fugitive was already captured in Mexico but the news isn't released yet since they haven't been extradited. (Or if they're closing in on him). The only other time The Hunt skipped over a 1-hour fugitive episode was when Matthew Dion had already been captured.

Well they know clearly where Landeros is but it may be a matter of just getting the Mexican authorities to do something. I wouldn't be surprised if they added Landeros just to get Mexican authorities to act.
