Juan Antonio Aleman, AKA Juan Renteria & Juan Aleman-Renteria, approximately 47 years of age, is wanted by the Marysville Police Department for failure to register as a sex offender.
Juan was convicted in 1993 of 288(A) PC, rape by force. Juan’s victim lived in Gridley, CA, where the crime occurred. She was 12 years old at the time the crime was reported but had been molested over a period of four years. The victim was being babysat by Juan’s girlfriend.
Juan last registered as a sex offender with the Marysville Police Department in 1996. He moved from Marysville without notification, and has been out of compliance since that time. A felony warrant was issued.
The photo of Juan was taken in 1996 when he was 27. He is approximately 47 years old. He has brown eyes, black (possibly graying) hair, is 5’4” tall and was last known to weigh 145 lbs.

Thoughts? Unlike most cold case fugitives where there possibly hasn't been any sightings since going on the run, Juan might have been sighted 12 years after he became a fugitive. The best part is that it was in the US State of New Mexico and not in Latin America, even thought it's not a guarantee that it was him, it's something to work with. So we just need more publicity in the Southwestern United States.
