Photo Credits: Idaho Cold Cases (Note: There is an error in the photo saying the date of the crime was 2000, based on the case summary, the murder happened in 1984). Israel Reyes Zamora was shot three times while working in a hop field near Wilder. The suspect, Antonio Cervantes, was a co-worker of Zamora and several others witnessed the shooting. Cervantes fled the scene and his location is still unknown. A warrant was issued May 10, 1984, for first-degree murder. Based on investigating agencies, it is advised to contact the Canyon County Sheriff's Office at 208-454-7510 if you have any information on the whereabouts of Antonio Cervantes.

A couple of years ago, an article came out on the cold case fugitives out of Canyon County, Idaho. Why more police departments don't do this same type of media publicity every couple of years I don't know, but at least there's still a public effort to apprehend Antonio Cervantes and the rest of Canyon County's Most Wanted. www.idahopress.com/news/local/canyon-county-authorities-continue-to-search-for-murder-suspects-sometimes/article_63f0ed28-a7ba-11e1-b2e9-001a4bcf887a.htmleastidahocoldcasesinc.com/wanted/

Nice to see the publicity still for Idaho cold case fugitives. Would like a few more details on the murder itself (such as motive) though.

East Idaho Cold Cases is currently down for construction, although I'm assuming Cervantes is still wanted as of this update. (6/14/2018).
Of course, if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they can always feel free to let us know.
