Israel Reyes Zamora was shot three times while working in a hop field near Wilder. The suspect, Antonio Cervantes, was a co-worker of Zamora and several others witnessed the shooting. Cervantes fled the scene and his location is still unknown. A warrant was issued May 10, 1984, for first-degree murder.
Based on investigating agencies, it is advised to contact the Canyon County Sheriff's Office at 208-454-7510 if you have any information on the whereabouts of Antonio Cervantes.

Thoughts? A couple of years ago, an article came out on the cold case fugitives out of Canyon County, Idaho. Why more police departments don't do this same type of media publicity every couple of years I don't know, but at least there's still a public effort to apprehend Antonio Cervantes and the rest of Canyon County's Most Wanted.
