While I was thinking how frustrated we get at DUI manslaughter fugitive cases, I thought of an idea.
Why not have MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) team up with say the US Marshals to make a Top 10/12 Most Wanted List of drivers charged with serious felonies while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. It would really help with publicity in this underreported crime category.

That would actually be a good idea, since the marshals really haven’t been on top of their Top 15 List, but personally I’d up the ante and say 20 from BOTH the Marshals and FBI and it could be called MADD’s Most Wanted. |

A bit awkward for our forum since we post threads on most wanted ICE fugitives on here but obviously there has been a growing call to abolish ICE, mainly by Democrats, over the controversy over the handling of illegal immigration at the U.S.-Mexican border and immigration in general, mainly the policy of separating children from their parents, which any American with a conscience has been understandably angry about it.
My politics as I've mentioned is as a registered independent who admittedly *usually* votes blue and is admittedly more liberal than conservative, however, I think the problem is even if abolish ICE you still need some sort of agency to handle the CRIMINAL illegal aliens in this country. The problem is the Trump administration has not just been deporting criminals but deporting people who have been law-abiding citizens that have lived here for decades, and of course separating children whose family is trying to flee from the problems, poverty corruption, crime etc... of their own country.
As someone who grew up half-Jewish (or for those who say you can't technically be half-Jewish, my religion growing up was Judaism), I realize the connotation when someone is said to be "just following orders" but that is sort of technically what ICE agents are doing. I think the problem is what they have been forced/told to do, rather than the agency itself.

Was talking about this in private message with someone but part of the beauty of this forum is we are the only "sleuthing" forum dedicated primarily to fugitives. Yet it is a weird balance since sometimes I feel it is a tightrope in making theories since if a fugitive comes across themselves on the forum we could in theory give them ideas. Like if I say "I think Jason Derek Brown might try to get a job doing (insert off-the-book profession here) since he wouldn't have to pay taxes." Or "I think Jason Brown might hide on this island since it is hard to get extradited from there" if he finds our forum he could go "no on both counts but that's actually a good idea I'm going to do that!" Lol.
I'm not saying not to sleuth but it is an interesting aspect to sleuthing I never thought of before lol.

hey guys, just so you know, we may not get a new season of In Pursuit after all, as I received a message from a drunk lady that keeps e-mailing me that Michele Comstock has John Walsh held hostage on a horse property with a grizzly bear and cubs stolen from her ex-boyfriend. (Not making this up by the way). Well let’s hope the grizzly bear, cubs and John Walsh get along well... but then again, they’re probably passing a joint around as we speak lmao.... jkjk.... back to seriousness and all jokes aside, I would really like to know this lady’s motive aside from being drunk as to why she would make such assumptions. Honestly it wouldn’t surprise me if she messaged you awhile ago since it’s Sunday and many people want to unwind a little before the week ahead and perhaps she has had way too much. |

I've told her- in a nice way- that we're not a tip agency and to please stop emailing us but I keep getting her emails. I even blocked one address but she is apparently emailing from another one.

I don’t know if anyone has done this yet, but I noticed we haven’t made a thread on the MH370 (The Malaysian plane that vanished in 2014) I have a ton of theories about what could have happened to that plane, even though they’ve found pieces of it on small islands and some parts of Africa.

I don't want to sound callous or indifferent but to be honest I'm about checked out on the story from the overcoverage (As much as I respect CNN for airing The Hunt, their coverage of MH370 got ridiculous).
I feel all we can do is hope for updates and the topic is really more of a miscellaneous Unsolved Mysteries category as opposed to crime stories that we do here. (Although I do believe the pilot deliberately crashed the plane in a suicide mission, as do most experts, the main mystery is where the plane is)

Scary times in America as our cheeto-in-chief is apparently thinking of revoking some more security clearances of former Obama intelligence staffers after already doing so with ex-CIA chief John Brennan. While Brennan is out of office anyway, the problem with revoking his clearance is now current intelligence officials can't go to him for advice on important classified issues if they need to. Yes, he's doing all this in part to distract from Omarosa (this is America, and our President is feuding with a reality show contestant). But these are dangerous implications where he can retaliate and punish those who have simply critiqued his Presidency- which they are allowed to do as private citizens- while a do-nothing Republican-led congress, cowards who are too afraid of their constituents that somehow still support this megalomaniac- sit and say nothing to stop it.
I wasn't around for Nixon but I know my history that it was actually REPUBLICANS that in part forced him to resign, putting country over party.
I also hate that when I criticize Trump I'm automatically assumed to be a "butt-hurt Hillary supporter." Usually in political elections, lots of people say they're voting for the "lesser of two evils" when in reality neither the Democrat or Republican candidate is that bad. Usually it's a cliche saying. However, the problem is the 2016 election in my opinion actually was a choice of the lesser of the two evils. The problem is Trump was first Die Hard-movie villain level evil (perhaps I'm giving him too much credit) while Hillary was only like fourth Die Hard movie minor-henchman level evil.
These are scary times and while we wait to see what happens with the Mueller investigation it really shouldn't matter. As much as I disliked Hillary, if she did like 25 percent of the things Trump has done as President she would have been impeached by now, and he should have been impeached yesterday. It shouldn't have to take the current collusion investigation to get him out of office.
Regardless of what happens in the next few months, I normally am not partisan but the midterms everyone needs to vote Democratic to get our current traitors out of office. This will also perhaps ironically save the Republican party as well. They were in the past good people with just different philosophies, however their party got infiltrated by the tea party and other nutjobs, mainly as a result of white America panicking that we had elected a black President. Hopefully then after the midterms they can concentrate on going back to what they used to be.
Sorry a longer rant than I expected but it is such a shame after 2008 and how proud I and we all were of our country how that progress has somehow reversed. I'm extremely angry at our despot President and how much he has been able to get away with. Violence is not the answer, and it concerns me when I see fugitives like Shawn Christy threaten the President's life. However, voting-wise, protest-wise etc... This needs to end and end soon.

We need the Blue Wave to take over congress, and by blue wave I mean the Bernie Wing of the Democratic Party, I’m really fed up with “Crooked lying” Don’s mouth, his ridiculous tweets. I just hope the Democrats have a majority after this year because someone needs to stand up to that pathetic excuse for a president. I honestly think that the Republicans will not change and that they should not be surprised if they become a third or fourth force behind the Libertarian and Green parties if they do not make a change soon. |
