Yes and the whole world will converge there for the olympics this summer, it's the perfect storm in a way, you have people coming from basically all over the world to see these olympics and there is some very alert tourists needing $100,000

I could see the FBI probably bringing added attention to this case to finally capture him. The guy is lost deep in South America I assume and the further south you go the better it is to hide. Personally Argentina or Brazil strike me since they are huge criminal hubs or are far south and especially Argentina it's a great place to get lost in.

I'd say he'd be a candidate for a 'Hunt' profile or even another show might take interest since this is a cold case. I still believe he is somewhere in Central America as well.

He is and he is long overdue. The FBI should do a bust of him or try to increase a reward though not significantly huge but about $50,000 more.
Now With the Argentina theory, I feel if Godwin felt confident he probably fled to the Falkland Islands, a group of British territories 300 miles off the coast of Argentina. Checking out the capital city of Stanley or its outskirts and wondered if Godwin is hiding there so people won't suspect a thing.

Glen Godwin has been removed from the FBI's Top 10 list although he's still on their website in the additional violent crimes section with now a $20,000 as opposed to $100,000 reward. He will be moved to the fugitives on tv from the 80's section as a result. As serious as his crimes were, and unlike Semion Mogilevich probably living in a country where we can have him extradited, I guess the FBI figured after 20 years they wanted to replace him with a more recent and catchable fugitive. www.fbi.gov/wanted/additional/glen-stewart-godwin/view

It seems Godwin has now been taken off the FBI's website entirely- a bit surprising considering Donald Eugene Webb is still there.

There's 2 new dates of birth that have been used by Godwin that haven't been there till recently.

It couldn't hurt. Brazil is a popular destination for fugitives. Indeed and they can get easily under the brazilian's law enforcement radar

As AMW mentioned on Tonight’s episode. Investigators feel Glen Godwin could possibly be in Miami, Florida, where he was born as Mexico may be too hot for him now due to Mexican cartels possibly being after him, and in Miami, he could live a lavish lifestyle while involved in drug trafficking.

Investigators feel Glen Godwin could possibly be in Miami, Florida, where he was born as Mexico may be too hot for him now due to Mexican cartels possibly being after him, and in Miami, he could live a lavish lifestyle while involved in drug trafficking. There was a sighting of him in the Twin Cities around 1996. I think it’s possible he is south of the border, but occasionally visits from time to time. The witnesses in the 1996 sighting said that he was running a crafts booth during a winter festival, and they were absolutely adamant it was him. For what it’s worth, the FBI had received leads that he was selling crafts and wood carvings.

I'd take the czar's stance on this case. If the cartels hadn't taken him out, then he may have gone legit to lay low. If not that, maybe hiding in plain sight anywhere in Latin America.
