So the year was starting off good with the first three featured fugitive additions being all murder suspects.
However the following five fugitive additions have been either non-violent drug traffickers or counterintelligence suspects yet again.

Just a heads up that even though we haven't gotten a new fugitive added in around a month, the FBI image feeds page shows two new fugitive cases. One for the "murders" section and one for the "crimes against children" section. So I expect we'll get at least one of them added to the featured fugitives site this week or sometime this month.
EDIT: Now a new "additional violent crimes" case was added to the FBI image feeds as well.

With the election basically decided now more or less, I can make a optimistic prediction that 2021 will have more domestic, violent fugitives being added to the FBI's site.

Well now that the election is over I wanted to finally not have to be as political except for off-topic discussion but the next year on the overall site and the top ten list etc... will depend on who the FBI director is as Trump could go on a firing spree before he leaves office on anyone he blames for his loss and he reportedly was already upset with Christopher Wray and even Bill Barr for not entertaining his phony investigation fantasies. I read an article that Wray is well-respected and liked by agents though and they've asked both Trump and President-elect Biden to please keep him on. (Biden would be under no obligation to keep Wray as the President is allowed to fire the FBI director for any reason even though it's supposed to be a 10-year term limit if appointed). I feel Wray has earned the right to stay on as director, despite my fears he turned out to show independence and political neutrality, but just a lot of what happens with the fugitives on the site and the list overall imo will depend on the continuity of leadership or whether there will be new leadership.

I realize this is the 17th time I've said I don't normally discuss politics except in off-topic and then discuss politics but it looks like the Democrats will win both Georgia Senate races- which in turn may sort of indirectly affect the FBI fugitives on the website and top ten list in a roundabout way.
In other words, Biden still hasn't made his attorney general pick yet- and my feeling is it was deliberate since it was going to be his most consequential pick. If Republicans had won one or both Senate races- Biden may have been forced to make a "compromise" pick with someone who was more middle of the road in terms of politics. Now he can he pick whoever he feels is most qualified in terms of who can do the job even if it's someone on the more liberal or "controversial" side. Of course, my hope is whoever the pick is will be politically neutral and follow the law. He can be a raging liberal or conservative outside the office when it comes to his personal opinions, but he follows the law when doing his job- as the justice department is not supposed to become weaponized and politicized the way it has been these past four years.
It seems Biden will keep Chris Wray as FBI director regardless of his AG pick but maybe now their daily operations which sort of include the website and adding fugitives will go smoother and faster now since Biden may finally name who Wray's new boss will be soon (since the AG's office oversees the FBI).

And sure enough, Biden has just nominated Merrick Garland, who is actually considered a centrist- respected by both parties- but perhaps he feared Republicans thinking it was a revenge pick since he was the guy they refused to let have a hearing when former President Obama nominated him to the Supreme Court.
In any case, now that there is a new justice department taking shape, perhaps it will indicate the FBI speeding up any new goals they may have.
EDIT: It seems the reason Biden may have waited- which makes sense- was Garland has an important position as a DC Appeals Court judge and McConnell would have nominated a Republican to replace him had he maintained control of the Senate. In any case, glad the new justice department is finally set to get going.

I didn’t know where to post this, but this isn’t really a post not just dedicated to just FBI fugitives rather in general to discuss a type of crime that hasn’t really been focused on.
As we all know the FBI hasn’t added a Child molestor in almost 8 years since Walter Lee Williams in 2013, they did a great job when they added hot prowler rapist Greg Alyn Carlson in September 2018. If a child molestor is added to the Top Ten List, I wouldn’t care if they’re white, black, green or purple, just a different type of crime that is also very dangerous and just as dispicable as a murderer, and the fact that these guys get away with a 4-30 year prison sentence which isn’t enough IMO. Heck Walter Lee Williams was sentenced in 2014 to 5 years in prison and he’s probably been out since 2019 or so.
Eric Franklin Rosser got out in 2017 only to reoffend and the fact that he got caught watching child pornography is really sick and disgusting. Child molestors are obviously more dangerous because they prey on the most vulnerable which are children, and the fact that they get only a few years in prison and go back out to harm kids to the point where they don’t care about the consequences of a being known sex offender.
As someone mentioned on the AMW 2.0 thread (I forgot who), one of the couple of criticisms I have is they will not have aired any child molestation fugitives in their 5 episode run (in a way Lester Eubanks Counts), and that’s very disappointing, so the reason I’m posting this is because I want to advocate for more of these cases to be aired on crime shows, and John Walsh does a wonderful job at it, I’m disappointed AMW 2.0 hasn’t, I really hope the FBI Top Ten List can finally have a child molestor added to its list, and I really want to advocate for harsher sentences for individuals wanted for Child Molestation and Child Pornographers, these animals aren’t phased by a sex offender registry, so something needs to change.
