Okay so I’ve decided to draw up a small list of fugitives I think could fill the last slot to replace Luis Macedo. The list contains one recent Fugitive and the rest are cold cases since the most recent additions to the FBI Top Ten have been fugitives on the run from the 1-10 years range. Also I decided not to include any Hispanic fugitives since Alexis Flores, Eduardo Ravelo, Santiago Mederos & Alejandro Castillo are currently on the list.
FBI Ten Most Wanted Contenders
* CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE INVESTIGATIONS
- Steven C. Touch: Leader of a violent gang sought for a home invasion in 2012 and fled in 2017 after cutting his electronic monitoring ankle bracelet.
Reason for adding: he’s a very violent individual and is a very huge deal since he’s the alleged leader of a gang.
Wanted by: FBI Boston
* ADDITIONAL VIOLENT CRIMES
- Leslie Charles Dawson: Wanted for escaping a state prison in Oregon in 1986 after molesting his stepdaughter.
Reason for adding: he raped his stepdaughter, which is both a violent crime and molestation. A child crimes Fugitive hasn’t been added in nearly 5, and the fact that this case will air on The Hunt with John Walsh on October 29, 2017 should be fuel enough to cause his addition after the fact.

* CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN
- Bruce Emerson Sawhill: Wanted for molesting a minor, who eventually ended up killing herself. He fled in 2002.
Reason for adding: He pushed his victim to commit suicide and is believed to be with his wife, in the past, fugitives on the lam with a known significant other have led to captures of high profile fugitives.

* WILD CARDS
- Daniel San Diego: wanted for his alleged involvement in two bombings in the San Francisco, California, area over the course of 2003.
Reason for adding: he may be capable of another attack, he’s been on the Most Wanted terrorist list for 8 years without any success, and is better suited for the Ten Most Wanted since it’s apolitical compared to the Most Wanted terrorist list where it’s very political. Lastly when the FBI said they would no longer add any more terrorists, I think they were referring to Middle Eastern based Extremists as tips will not help bring them in, but it will in Daniel San Diego’s case.

- Lisbio Couto: wanted for his alleged involvement in at least three of a series of crimes committed in California and Nevada, many of which are thought to have been committed as part of a sophisticated Asian Criminal Enterprise Organization in the late 1990s
Reasons for adding: he’s committed a ton of crimes such as Robbery, Murder and computer hijacking, which makes him unique in that sense. He might be in China or Portugal and likely these countries will send him back as he’s wanted for violent crimes, weapons and RICO charges. Also despite the fact that he’s been off the FBI website for a few years, they can still re-add him or revisit the case.

Any thoughts? Many of these cases now have a good shot since the FBI Top Ten has actually stopped being a crapshoot, and instead has more recent fugitives than long-timers.
