CAUTION
Sergio Biul Butterfield is wanted for failing to appear in a California court for sentencing after pleading guilty to the felony offense of committing a lewd or lascivious act upon a child under the age of 14. The charge stemmed from the molestation of an 8-year-old female approximately two to three times a month for five years, prior to March of 1996. The crimes occurred at the victim's residence in San Diego, California.
After pleading guilty to the molestation charge, Butterfield was released on his own recognizance and ordered to appear for sentencing on June 6, 1996. Butterfield failed to appear and a federal arrest warrant was subsequently issued by the United States District Court, Southern District of California, charging Butterfield with unlawful flight to avoid confinement.
Based on crime location, it is advised to contact the San Diego Police Department at 619-531-2000 if you have any information on Sergio Butterfield's whereabouts.

Thoughts? Sergio Butterfield's case is one of the last archived cases I'll be posting on this forum. The website, Straight Shooter has not been updated in several years but I did confirm Sergio's warrant is still active through the San Diego County Warrants search.
The main thing about this case unlike many others is that Sergio has already pleaded guilty and failed to appear for his sentencing. There is no denying his guilt.
