Ricardo Persona, aka Ricardo Hermosillo, a former teacher, has been wanted by San Diego County authorities since 1997, on multiple counts of child molestation and rape by force. The alleged sexual assaults occurred between 1991 and 1997 in San Diego and Tecate. His alleged victims were known females between the ages of 10 and 16 years old.
In 2009, he was said to be the San Diego County Sheriff's Office's #1 most wanted fugitive, according to an NBC San Diego report.
I surprisingly have not found much online about him since then but I am assuming he is still at large as of this posting date (September 29th, 2018) since his name still comes up in San Diego County's public access online warrants search. If anyone ever has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they are always more than welcome to let us know.
