I'm seeing social media postings claiming they're seeing ads on the ID channel for "In Pursuit with John Walsh" debuting on January 16th at 10 PM ET.
I have not seen the commercial yet myself to confirm this however.
(January 16th would be a Wednesday btw).

ID channel advertised the show is coming in January 2019 so it is official that In Pursuit will debut then!
Just waiting on official confirmation on date and time.

P.S. Not to put a damper on great news, but the only thing that sucks about this is the 10 PM time slot is inconvenient for me personally- and I will likely not be able to watch the show until the next day (or later in the night). This is the first time a John Walsh show will be on past 9 PM ET, but I'm sure it will work out in the end lol.
Just try not to be too spoilish since despite me being the forum admin, a lot of you here will see the show before me lol.

Important question I have is does anyone know what will be on ID Wednesday's in January at 9PM. If it's one of the more popular programs, then it would be an excellent lead-in to In Pursuit.

At least we wont have to wait too long after the 2018 December holidays for In Pursuit.

From Fugitivehunter666: Would really really appreciate it if someone could attach/send/post a clip of the commercial itself for me to see (as well as that of others), I'm a huge I.D. channel surfer and I haven't seen any commercial for it yet.

If you scroll through Investigation Discovery's Facebook page you'll see the preview.
You don't see much footage of the actual show, it's mainly John Walsh speaking about how he caught over 1400 bad guys (that number is actually inaccurate, AMW took credit for 1205 direct captures but it is still an impressive number), and he's not done yet.

In Pursuit has it's own Facebook page now! www.facebook.com/InPursuitwithJohnWalsh/?rc=pSelfishly, it's a relief for me now because I've wanted to shut down our fan site Facebook page for so long (you guys are great, but the Facebook page usually lead to annoying messages addressed to John Walsh- sometimes serious issues but most of the time b.s. like find out who took my pet hamster and same said people getting mad at me when I told them I wasn't John Walsh despite numerous disclaimers, this site is my actual baby and the Facebook page was additional stress I didn't need)- so I now have an excuse lol. (I'll keep the page up for a few days just to let people know to go to official ID instead).

Now that there's a Facebook page, hopefully an official ID website for the show will be up shortly as well. When that gets up, just maybe they could profile a few more federally sought fugitives not being aired on seasons one. I'm not wanting something as extensive as 2004-2012 amw.com, but just some other profiles. I mean I think AMW.com led to the arrest of over 50 fugitives.

P.S. Another aspect I was keeping secret but now I can state since the article let it out anyway, they mention Callahan Walsh as being involved in the show and he will be covering the Butch Knight segment for the show. (So thankfully we hopefully have a transition for whenever John decides on a well-deserved retirement!).

Also:
"the series will also feature two missing children each hour, providing age-progression photos and descriptions in the hopes that viewers can provide new leads to their whereabouts. Airing for 12 consecutive weeks, IN PURSUIT WITH JOHN WALSH will make its world premiere on Wednesday, January 16 at 10/9c on Investigation Discovery."
All of the above I also knew and had to keep secret but now it's in the official press release lol.
