During AMW's off-season, their facebook page has posted some fresh faces. These are interesting since it means they are potentially going to be aired in season 26. If I missed any feel free to tell me: Ronnie Batista- Wanted for a June 2012 murder in which he killed a man as a result of an argument in a parking garage in Orlando, Florida: www.amw.com/fugitives/case.cfm?id=81176John Devaughn- A cold case. Devaughn is wanted for murdering his brother-in-law in 1982. After two suicide attempts, he escaped from a mental hospital: www.amw.com/fugitives/case.cfm?id=80794Gilberto Juarez-Hernandez- Accused double murderer wanted for stabbing a Florida mother and her 2-year old son in 2003. Last year, it took until the season finale to get my #1 fugitive of 2012. If he gets a full-profile in season 26, he may immediately become my front runner. www.amw.com/fugitives/case.cfm?id=81162Leslie Jandert- Minnesotan accused of molesting his girlfriend's young daughter. Obviously the worst kind of creep. www.amw.com/fugitives/case.cfm?id=81172Bradley Monical- Convicted armed robber who escaped from an Oregon jail last winter. www.amw.com/fugitives/case.cfm?id=81186

I would personally only add Devaughn and Juarez-Hernandez (automatic #1 contender).

I think the problem with some of these cases is I often change my mind after seeing a profile, either because it is way too short or I don't get the emotional reaction I thought I would.
I think two cases in point were Jimmy Mason Jr. and Lakshminivana Nerusu. Their crimes were so much more terrible in print than how it seemed AMW showed them. AMW on Lifetime has been overall awesome so far, but they did a terrible job with those cases considering the severity of their crimes. Mason turned himself in, but I considered him barely eligible for my top 10 of 2012 list and declined to put him on because the profile itself did not affect me. They just talked about the crime and didn't make you feel for the victims. Nerusu was only eligible by the fact he was a family killer, but I ultimately decided he was not eligible for the top 10 because his profile was less than five minutes. It's amazing how he was basically like an Indian Robert Fisher and yet the profile had no emotion and was basically just fact-based. They actually made a bigger deal out of Clyde Hall who had a profile right after him. I agree Hall's a dangerous creep, but they treated Nerusu like an afterthought in his episode.
I should say if they ever give Nerusu five or more minutes he would be eligible for a new top 10, however.

So this is unique AMW has a new web exclusive fugitive- Elizabeth Barrer- a female drug kingpin. In my 16 years of watching amw I have seen all kinds of female criminals- killers, child abusers, con artists- but very rarely if ever do I see female drug traffickers. I really hope she becomes a direct capture because it would stand out in it's uniqueness! www.amw.com/fugitives/case.cfm?id=81196#.URKkKXKuvJI.facebook

It's certainly a rarity. Hopefully she will become a direct capture and it can be a new Lifetime first.

I must admit I find some of the comments about her amusing, someone pointed out she looks like the girl who sings Call Me Maybe (she actually does) but I still would love the capture for how unique it would be.
Also, I'm sure it's just a coincidence but anyone else notice the similarities between her and Heather Johnson. She's almost the same age with brown hair, 5'4, and is also in Johnson's weight range at 120. (Heather Johnson is listed as between 105-130). I sincerely doubt they're the same people, but those are some freaky coincidences.

And we have a new scumbag who may be aired, especially likely given the news provided here that AMW is now filming: Maurice Clark Sr.- He offered a co-worker a ride home, claimed he had to stop at his mother's house, and then viciously raped her. Sounds a bit similar to Julio Ceja and Jose Garibay- www.amw.com/fugitives/case.cfm?id=81199

Sounds a bit similar to Julio Ceja and Jose Garibay- www.amw.com/fugitives/case.cfm?id=81199To me it sounds more similar to PA fugitive Michael Edward Akerly, a phony samaritan who raped a woman who asked him for a ride home from a bar. Anyways, he should be an easy grab. His main vices are using cocaine and going to strip clubs, but ironically he's had a history of coaching youth sports. And as usual, he probably hasn't fled America (perhaps he didn't flee more than a few states away!)
