David Weir is wanted for the murder of his girlfriend. He was aired on AMW three times, once for 30 seconds during the Teenage Dating Violence special and during two 15 SOS profiles.
David Weir and Victoria Ramirez first met each other as teenagers on a holiday boat cruise. They became friends and Victoria helped David deal with the suicide of his younger brother. In their early 20s, they lived together at home owned by David's father Lawrence, Jessica going to college while both worked at the bar also owned by Lawrence. Eventually, Victoria wanted to break off the relationship because David was seeing another woman, and he had been arrested on drug charges.
In the early morning hours of Aug 6, 2006, David and Victoria argued at their residence when David shot and killed Victoria. David then called his father and confessed to shooting Victoria, not knowing if he had actually killed her. David and Lawrence's longtime friend Gino Dubois, were planning on David surrendering but Lawrence's lawyer said that David could get up to 15 years for killing Victoria. Later that day, Gino last saw David at a theater, then both went their separate ways.
Thoughts? According to one article I read, Lawrence (who in the article was referred to as Larry) died in 2009. Detectives believe David is living in Mexico and may be dealing drugs as a living. He came from a wealthy family so he may still have family support and money to support a life on the run.
