Tbh, I'm not 100% sure where to put this thread, as you'll read later. I meant to do it in late April, after the 10th anniversary. Anyway, Othmaro Orellana is wanted in connection of a quadruple homicide back in 2004.
In April 2004, police were called to a house where they discovered 4 dead bodies. Danny Green, his sister Veronica Orellana, and Veronica's two children, 1 year-old Gloria, and 2 year-old Omar had all been killed. At the time, cops could not located Veronica's estranged husband, Othmaro. Police say Othmaro stole Veronica's car, which was found abandoned near the Mexican border. At the time, police only charged him with stealing the car, and just considered him a person of interest in the homicides.
Not long after the murders, police received a call from Othmaro's family in El Salvador. They claimed he committed suicide there. As far as I know, however, they have never confirmed that he was in fact deceased.
Maybe I missed it, but I haven't found anything that states Othmaro has been confirmed dead. That's the reason I wasn't sure where to put this thread, in case he was in fact dead. I do have issues with the suicide story. If he was going to kill himself, why travel to El Salvador to do it? The fact that he went to a country where his family lives, and that they're the ones who claim he killed himself, tells me the story is more than likely just a smokescreen. If that's the case, then he's probably still in El Salvador, with his family helping him.
