Police in Conyers, Georgia said that Keshone Quantarious Smith, 19, is wanted for felony robbery and murder that happened on Monday at an apartment complex. Smith is believed to be in the Pine Bluff area. He was last known to be driving a white Hyundai Elantra with an Arkansas license plate 496ZDO. You can remain anonymous.katv.com/news/local/man-wanted-for-georgia-murder-robbery-being-sought-in-arkansasThoughts? As far as I can tell, Smith is still at large as of this posting date since the above article is from only a few months ago with no updates since. I don't know if he's still believed to be in Arkansas or not though so any updates regarding capture or potential whereabout statuses are always welcome. Thank you for the update zekcat. I am sorry to hear that this manhunt ended with the death of a police officer but at least Keshone is no longer at large.

So the article states more than one person was arrested after the shootout at the hotel so maybe it was not smith who pulled the trigger but one of the other suspects I dont know we will have to wait and find out more bit at least smith can be sent back to metro atlanta on the murder and robbery charges

According to katv com he has been convicted of 1st degree murder and faces anywhere from 40 to life in prison and also he still faces the murder charges in Georgia hopefully justice is served for his Georgia victim as well gets justice pine bluff detective Kevin Collins gets justice but I found a very touching moment when keshone smiths mother and Collins mother hugged however there words say it all we both lose I find that true but for the fact of them both hugging symbolizes that even though they both realize that there sons lives are gone but the fact that they don't hate each other is quite beautiful and it shows that there is a lot of good people now why this matters to me is that usually the victims or the defendants family hate each or blame each other but that wasn't the case gives me hope

Im glad that justice was served but that fact that hate didn't triumph but love did is a very beautiful thing at least in my honest opinion

Smith has been sentenced to 35 years in a Arkansas prison for the murder of Kevin Collins but I'm hoping he never gets out and not to mention he faces charges in addition to the Arkansas killing he will stand trial in Georgia at some point and they did honored the fallen detective by naming the pine bluff police department training center to not only remember him as man and police officer but to honor his legacy as pillar of light in the pine bluff community and to inspire future generations of police officers to fight for the people and to put dangerous criminals away that is according to katv com
