From ozarksfirst.com:
McDONALD COUNTY, Mo. — Southwest Missouri authorities say a homicide suspect is still in the area after following up on a tip Wednesday.
Detectives with the McDonald County Sheriff’s Office were investigating a stolen generator case at a home along Route W when they learned more about a Jasper County homicide suspect possibly in the area.
MCSO said while at the residence, they learned that Scott Burleson, a man wanted in the stabbing death of Seth Langford, fled the house shortly before their arrival. Despite attempts to locate him that day Burleson was not found.
Sheriff Rob Evenson says was last seen near Route W and East State Highway 76 wearing a red shirt and blue jeans. He is still considered armed and dangerous by law enforcement.
Should you see Burleson, authorities say do not approach him, contact them instead.
If you have information about Burleson’s whereabouts, contact the Untied Marshals Service, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, or 9-1-1.

Thoughts? As of today’s posting date (March 16th, 2024), a search of Missouri’s online criminal court records still shows no events since a warrant for Burleson was issued back on March 4th, 2024. Additional articles say Burleson is a resident of Wyandotte, Oklahoma. However, it seems they think he is in southwest Missouri for now.
