(Above photo credit: Fugitive Watch website) From the Fugitive Watch website: "The Newark Police Department reports they are currently seeking Galdino Martin Ramirez on a warrant charging him with Murder. According to Detective Peter Carlson, on July 14, 1991, Ramirez allegedly stabbed to death a female bartender at the Las Quatras Bar on Ash Street. Ramirez has a prominent tattoo on the side of his neck and is known to use the alias of Jesus Martin Velasquez or “Chicken”. He was also known to be a heroin dealer and frequents the Decoto section of Union City." Thoughts? According to a longtime AMW viewer who sent us a list of fugitives the show has profiled, this case was profiled on the show at some point. Fugitive Watch profiled this case two years ago, so despite the cold status, it is nice to see it's not forgotten. Admin Note #1: Based on article, our advice for anyone with information on Ramirez's whereabouts would be to call the Fugitive Watch hotline at 1-800-9-CAUGHTAdmin Note #2: If you have any other news updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form www.fugitive.com/2013/07/14/galdino-martin-ramirez-wanted-by-newark-california-police-for-an-alleged-murder-at-the-las-quatras-bar/ (Update: As of July 22nd, 2018, Ramirez is still listed on the Fugitive Watch website).

As of today, June 29, 2020, the 1992 UFAP case against Galdino Martin Ramirez has no date listed under "Date Closed".
However, there was a 2010 document ordering that the warrant against Galdino be "quashed". I checked and that is a legal term to "reject" or "void".
I'm assuming that Galdino is still most likely at large, at least for sure on a local level in Newark, California. On a federal level, I'm leaning towards him being at large since the UFAP case is not closed in PACER. Any clarification on this would be appreciated.

I found out that Alameda County has an online court records database. Something important about their database is that they only show case movement details for cases that have had activity since 2005. The 1991 murder case is classified as "opened" while some previous cases from the 1980s show as "disposed". I think we can conclude with 100% certainty that as of today, September 23, 2021, Galdino Martin Ramirez is still a fugitive. publicportal.alameda.courts.ca.gov/publicportal/Home/WorkspaceMode?p=0
