ABILENE, Texas — The murder of a woman found hanging in Abilene remains unsolved two years later.
Jeannie Quinn, 20, was reported missing in Levelland on April 15, 2018. Her body was found hanging, two days later, in a field near Arnold and Marigold in Abilene. A "hard wire" was twisted around her neck.
According to the autopsy report, her death was a "staged hanging." She died of asphyxiation.
Ricky Don Henderson -- who was named by police as a person of interest -- is currently serving time at the Byrd Unit in Huntsville.
Henderson pleaded guilty in November to drug possession charges and was sentenced to 25-years.
Quinn's family is offering a $12,400 reward for information leading to an arrest.

Thoughts? Thankfully there is a person of interest but this is still an awfully tragic and horrific case and I hope Jeannie's family will one day see justice.
