"In late March 2013, Wellesley Police obtained two arrest warrants for MARIANO PEREYRA JR. (then 55, now 62), charging him with rape of a child with force and five counts each of aggravated rape of a child, aggravated rape with serious bodily injury, and indecent assault and battery on a child under 14. The charges stem from multiple sexual assaults on a child under age 14 allegedly committed by PEREYRA over an extended period of time.
PEREYRA is aware that he is being sought by law enforcement and is actively attempting to evade capture.
PEREYRA is Hispanic, 5’8” tall, approximately 210 lbs., with black and gray hair and brown eyes. He has a visible lump on his chest.
PEREYRA has a lengthy criminal history in Massachusetts, including firearm, breaking and entering, and stolen property convictions.
He has training as a massage therapist, and has ties throughout the city of Boston, as well as to Attleboro, Watertown, Wellesley, Pawtucket, R.I., and the Dominican Republic.
Anyone who sees MARIANO PEREYRA JR. or has knowledge of his whereabouts is urged to call the Massachusetts State Police Violent Apprehension Section at 1-800-KAPTURE (1-800-527-8873) or 911.
