Details: The Federal Bureau of Investigation's Tampa Field Office and the Hendry County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the individual(s) responsible for the homicide of Bee Love Slater. Slater, a transgender woman, was found burned beyond recognition in her vehicle in the area of 1218 Virginia Avenue, Clewiston, Florida, Hendry County, on September 4, 2019. Slater is from Belle Glade-Pahokee, Florida in Palm Beach County and does not have ties to Clewiston, Florida. Submit a Tip: If you have any information concerning this homicide, please contact the FBI's Tampa Field Office at (813) 253-1000. www.fbi.gov/wanted/seeking-info/bee-love-slater-Thoughts? I've mentioned recently that the vast amount of murders of transgender Americans seem to be one of the country's worst problems that no one talks about, so I really have to give kudos to the FBI for bringing attention to Bee Love's case. I should mentioned articles from last year referred to at least one person of interest by name, but I don't want to mention them right now since I'm not sure if they're still being looked at. At least there seems to be persons of interest being looked at in general, which gives hope that this is a solvable case.
