(Above photo credit: amw.com archives) Case details as of November 25th? 201u (based on old archived AMW profiles): Aliases: Henri Napoleon Menjivar-Flores, Droopy Sex: Male Race:Hispanic Age Now : Mid-Late 20's Height : 5'11 Weight: 160 Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown Who to contact if you've seen him: Stafford Crime Solvers 1-866-493-1083 or submit an anonymous web tip to them by clicking on the following link: www.tipsubmit.com/WebTips.aspx?AgencyID=702In 2009, AMW first aired the case of Henry "Droopy" Menjivar to feature the Department Of Justice's Gangtecc Most Wanted List. Menjivar was an MS-13 gang member in Virginia who took part in the murder of a young woman because Menjivar and fellow MS-13 members thought she was a member of a rival gang. fredericksburg.com/News/FLS/2010/092010/09092010/574278So as of 2010, it is confirmed that Menjivar is living with his grandmother in his native El Salvador. An effort was probably made by the federal government to arrest Menjivar but that didn't appear to work. It's probably why AMW stopped airing Menjivar in 2010. So anyone at least somewhat optimistic that Menjivar will be captured in the next couple of years, because I'm sure not. amw.com archived page on Menjivar: web.archive.org/web/20121109064842/http://www.amw.com/fugitives/case.cfm?id=47432 Admin Note: If you have any (news-related) updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

this makes me sad for the chances of apprehending Chuy Canales and Berny Figueroa, also believed to possibly be in El Salvador, as well.

Looks like AMW is just as pessimistic as you were as Menjivar is now no longer on the site.

I just found out that there's a brand new book out about an undercover agent by the name of Santini who infiltrates MS-13 in San Francisco. When I saw this I right away had thought of 'DROOPY', I wonder if 'DROOPY' is still lose or if he's in prison or if he was killed by a rival gang. books.google.com/books/about/Operation_Devil_Horns.html?id=YElmDwAAQBAJ&source=kp_book_descriptionI wonder if 'DROOPY' is even mentioned in this new book. ? Plus I think it's a perfect title cause didn't AMW say that he was possibly practicing Satanism? Plus the other tell tell traits is that he's a expert car thief and loves soccer.

As far as I can tell, Menjivar is still at large as of today. It is weird and frustrating how this case seems to have sort of vanished though. Does anyone remember the name of the victim? I feel guilty in that the victim is who these cases are really about and I forgot her name but if I can figure out her name, I can try to look for an update that way as well.

According to the archived AMW.com page, the victim was 21-year old Shannah Angeles. web.archive.org/web/20111110224827mp_/http://www.amw.com/fugitives/brief.cfm?id=47432 (Go to "case")

I kept clicking on case and it wouldn't come up for me. Anyway, thanks for Shannah's name, all I could find was a YouTube news clip but most of the comments are from 9 or 10 years ago. One comment from last year defending joining a gang *sigh* but besides that not much. www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJVhyIY_uf8

Wait, well I'm glad we gave Shannah her name but I just learned Virginia has a new less cumbersome system for looking up cases (you used to have to look up by county circuit court on different systems). They show Menjivar's warrant case with still no arrest date and also has his status as fugitive so this looks like confirmation he's unfortunately still at large as of today (May 27th, 2020). I'm not happy he's still at large, but at least now we have clarity. eapps.courts.state.va.us/ocis/details;oneCase=true
