Admin Note #1: Based on the Charley Project website page, our advice for anyone with information on the whereabouts of Errol West would be to call the Richland County Sheriff's Office (South Carolina) at 803-576-3000.
"Antoine Jones disappeared in Columbia, South Carolina on September 20, 1997. He was in town for the christening of his future godchild. But the night before the ceremony, cops say he went for a ride in his car with a man named Errol West. Witnesses say West returned with Antoine's car around five or six the next morning. There was a knife inside with Antoine's blood on it, but Antoine was missing. Cops issued a warrant for West's arrest, but he disappeared too. Errol West is said to have lost a finger in a work-related accident. Cops say West can be hiding in the Bronx, Florida, or Jamaica."
Thoughts? I unfortunately don't know when if West was aired on AMW on television and/or more specific details such as current age or height since his archived profile no longer works, but he has been on AMW radio and the above was a brief description of the case. Investigators say Antoine Jones had a troubled past, and the likely murder was probably the result of a botched drug deal.
The good news is at least there was one murder conviction in the case. The bad news is Errol West is still out there, and Antoine's body has never been recovered. Let's wrap this case up for good, and/or at the very least hold West accountable for his alleged actions that night.
