Alvaro Martinez is accused in the homicide of 17-year old Rosendo Castillo. According to Newspapers.com articles, Rosendo was stabbed to death during an argument.
Even more disturbing, is that according to a 1997 article, Alvaro was also charged with failing to appear for Aggravated Sexual Assault Of A Child. I do not know if that is related to the homicide of Rosendo Castillo. This may be an unrelated case.
Martinez has played drums for Latin bands, and may have fled to either Houston, California or Mexico.
Based on crime location, it is advised to contact the Nueces County Sheriff's Department at 361-887-2222 if you have any information on Alvaro Martinez's whereabouts.

Thoughts? As of today, September 29, 2021, Alvaro's 1991 murder case in the Nueces County Court Records database still has a warrant flag. The sexual assault case however was dismissed in 2003 (not sure the reasoning for that). Both cases were filed under Alvaro's full name (Alvaro Javier Martinez).
It looks like that Alvaro still needs to be brought to justice for allegedly murdering Rosendo Castillo. I couldn't find anything online about Rosendo's case.
