On May 25, 2016 at about 5:00pm, the Marin County Sheriff’s Office responded to the end of Fairway Drive in Novato, CA for a subject who reported he had been shot. Deputies arrived on scene and located two victims. One victim was transported to the hospital and recovered from his injuries. The other victim succumbed to his injuries and died.
During the course of the investigation, one of the outstanding suspects has been identified as Marlon Alexander Ortiz Majano. Ortiz is a 19 year old Hispanic male with ties to Novato, CA. Ortiz may be associated with a white 1997 Olds Cutlass (CA: 4BQC226). Ortiz is further described as, 5’9” 180lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. Detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for Ortiz for murder, and he should be considered armed and dangerous.
The Marin County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division is seeking information regarding Ortiz’s current location or any information related to this homicide. Anyone with information is asked to please call the Investigations Division at 415-473-7265.

Thoughts? As of this posting date (10/17/2021), Ortiz is still listed as a wanted person on the Marin Court Sheriff's Office's website.
Also, I apologize as we have previously covered this case back when we thought the only remaining fugitive at large was a man named Javier Guevara. (The victim in this case was 17 year old Edwin Josue Ramirez Guerra). Guevara has just turned himself in.
We found out about Ortiz in 2017 but I forgot to make a thread with him. I'm not sure why. I'm not going to make excuses or try to figure out the reason (although to be honest usually the reason is I accidentally think they're already captured), but at least we finally have the last suspect in Edwin Guerra's murder on our site.
