Alleged Teen Killer With A Hot Temper On The Loose
Police in Statesville, NC are searching for Alex Gutierrez, the 19-year-old man they say shot three of his friends to death -- all because one of them offended him during an argument.
Police say Gutierrez and three of his friends, Jose Manuel Sanchez Arellano, 21, Tomas Romero, 28 and Jorge Osman Alberto-Castellano, 25 spent the night of June 18, 2005 drinking at some bars in the area.
According to police, the men were having fun, so when it came time to leave, the men went to a rented house to continue the party. But what was supposed to be a fun gathering of friends turned tragic when around 2 a.m. the following morning, one of the men said something that offended Gutierrez.
Visibly angry and intoxicated, police say Gutierrez left the the house with one of his friends, Jesus Corzo, saying he was going to buy more beer. But buying more alcohol was the last thing on his mind.
The Final Betrayal
Cops say Gutierrez instead drove to his house to retrieve his gun , then turned on his own friend. The 19-year-old gunman, unfamiliar with the area, threatened to shoot Corzo if he didn't show him the way back to the house. Corzo followed orders.
When Gutierrez showed up at the house without beer, police say the other men got upset and started arguing again. That's when the cops say Gutierrez pulled out his gun and shot each of them multiple times before driving off in a silver Acura.
He hasn't been seen since.
Thoughts? I promised I'd select a worthy case for the last recent AMW fugitive for this month and I think this is a good one. It's amazing AMW only aired Gutierrez once in January of 2006 considering this is a triple homicide we're dealing with. 17-years old is perhaps one of the youngest triple or more murder suspects in AMW history. And if he had a temper back then, I don't see why he wouldn't now. That's why it's so important to catch him, whether he's in Mexico or anywhere else.

UPDATE: I could not find anything online from the past few years besides a 2015 Facebook posting. As far as I can tell, Gutierrez is still at large as of this update (7/21/2108) since I could find nothing that suggests otherwise. However, if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, please feel free to let us know.
