(Above photo credit: Central Indiana Crime Stoppers website) Rosendo Molina-Castro (pictured left) and possibly Jaime Molina (pictured right, more on this below) are wanted for a quadruple shooting in Indianapolis. Rosendo was a maintenance worker at an apartment who authorities say was involved in an ongoing argument with several men at the apartment. In September 2009, Rosendo and a second man ran into the men again at a supermarket. Rosendo and the second man opened fire with guns into a parked vehicle, striking three men and killing 24-year old Jose Avila. The second man with Rosendo was reportedly also struck. Another person in the parked vehicle escaped uninjured. Rosendo Molina-Castro then fled. --- Thoughts? The one thing I can't 100% confirm about this case is the involvement of a fugitive named Jaime Molina. Along with Rosendo, the Central Indiana Crimestoppers page is also looking for Jaime on a murder warrant as well. Since they both have the last name Molina, it's quite possible that they're brothers and Jaime could have been the person with Rosendo. The issue is that the articles I found only go as far as right after the crime occurred and they mentioned at the time that investigators didn't know who the second shooter was. crimetips.org/misc.aspx?p=1www.wthr.com/story/11086459/police-video-shows-suspects-moments-before-west-side-shootingswww.theindychannel.com/news/police-seek-suspect-in-supermarket-shootingAdmin Note #1: Based on their past handling of the case, our advice for anyone with information on the whereabouts of Rosendo Molina-Castro would be to contact Central Indiana Crime Stoppers. Well Rosendo at least needs a life if what's alleged is true. A petty ongoing argument leading to a quadruple shooting- belongs in the stupidest crimes hall of fame.
Molina is a common enough last name so it is possible Jaime is not related and/or wanted for an unrelated murder. But in any case, hopefully both of these men get captured one day.

I've been thinking. I take single-count murderers a lot more seriously if they also have wounded surviving victims. When it comes to how aggressively law enforcement pursues suspects, and how judges and juries sentence murderers, how much more seriously does law enforcement take murder with a casualty toll like 1 dead, 3 wounded (Molina-Castro's toll, for example), than simply 1 dead?

While I think even one murder should be taken seriously, it is a good question. I think in addition to how many overall people are wounded, agencies also take a fugitive more seriously if he has a lengthy criminal history in addition to how many people died in one incident. I'd like to think that as far as sentences are concerned, you *should* get a life sentence with additional victims whether they died or not. Unfortunately, sometimes plea deals and such make that not the case.

Rosendo Molina-Castro is still at large, I repeat, despite all the news reports in April, Rosendo Molina-Castro is still at large. Apparently for some reason the guy they arrested said "yes" when asked if he was Molina-Castro. He also gave three different dates of birth, and based on his similarity and saying "yes" he was detained. It was later determined the man was not Molina-Castro. So please still call Crime Stoppers with tips! (Also, this was the news media in Indiana that said he was captured- so obviously blame them.) www.wbiw.com/local/archive/2015/04/police-arrest-the-wrong-man.php

According to our forum reader who was watched since the early years on Fox and sent us a master list of fugitives aired, this case was on AMW. I'm taking his word for it even though I don't remember it. If anyone has proof he was on AMW, please let us know.
