"On Saturday night, August 29th, 2009, Daniel Perez Soto was partying at a house in Mountain City, Georgia. But after the party ended, cops say Soto returned. Cops say he broke into the house and brutally raped the woman who lived there. And he did it in front of her 20-month old child. Then this creep fell asleep. His victim immediately called the cops. When they got there they found Soto half-naked and sound asleep. They woke Soto up, but after he got dressed he went berserk, fighting the cops and even trying to grab their guns. Cops pulled out their tasers, and zapped Soto twice with 50,000 volts of electricity. But Soto wouldn't quit. He hurled himself through a closed bedroom window and escaped."
The above is the AMW radio description of this case. Unfortunately, I could not find a working archived page to put Soto's statistics such as height weight, but at least we have his photo. But this guy needs to be caught. Any guy who sees a 20-month old child in front of his victim and still allegedly chooses to rape her probably isn't going to quit preying on women any time soon.
UPDATE: Although Soto was still at large at the time of my original posting (12/12/2014), I have not seen anything new online about this case in the past four years. As far as I can tell, Soto is still wanted as of this update (7/22/2018), since I haven't found anything online suggesting otherwise. However, if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they are always more than welcome to let us know.
