I wasn't going to make a thread since AMW had stopped doing detailed descriptions even before cancellation- but I've decided he is a danger to children based on what is alleged and I'll just have to find creative but honest ways to stretch this thread out. Anyway, In 2008, Leslie Jandert was accused of having unwanted sexual contact with his girlfriend's young daughter. He was arrested, but quickly posted bond and fled. An arrest warrant charging Jandert with felony first-degree criminal sexual conduct was filed in Dakota County, Minnesota on February 25th, 2009. In the winter of 2012-2013 Jandert's profile was uploaded to America's Most Wanted website- indicating he likely would have been aired had AMW been renewed for a second season on Lifetime. (Or if Fox didn't ask Lifetime for exorbitant license fees). It seems AMW thought Jandert was a danger and with good reason- according to that archived profile- Jandert used to manage a daycare. Which is rather scary considering he's accused of inappropriate sexual conduct with a young girl. Although the girl was between 13-15, past day care age, who knows about this guy. At the very least- if he's still involved in day care- it still gives him access to parents who may have young teenage daughters. The Dakota County Sheriff's Office is so determined to get Jandert they made him one of their Most Wanted fugitives- and even passed around his photo at the Dakota County Fair. Well- let's help them out and play ring toss- and throw some cuffs on Jandert. Thoughts? It's a shame Jandert never got aired since he has a face that in my opinion stands out and has telling scars and tattoos such as the "LES" tattoo- which I assume is short for Leslie. Seriously, while obviously the child crime suspect from Minnesota that gets the most attention is Victor Barnard- and rightfully so- Jandert is a dangerous suspect from the state as well. I'm heavily concerned with a fugitive child molester on the loose that has daycare running experience. Reminds me of Daniel Brewster. Hopefully Jandert doesn't last anywhere near as long at large as Brewster.

Once again, Jandert unfortunately still listed as one of Dakota County's Most Wanted as of 12/20/2017. Would like to thank our source who provided some additional clues that may be helpful.
-Leslie did go by Les
-The daycare center was actually his trailer home.
-Les Jandert liked polished rocks and crystals, although our source couldn't recall where he travelled to get them.
-Our source mentioned Jandert had predatory grooming behavior- including pinching the child's butt cheeks and calling it "bee stings."
As far as sleuthing on possible whereabouts, our source speculates that based on Les having distinctive hair, he likely is buzzed or bald. If Jandert is still alive and captured one day, our source would be surprised if it turns out he was still in the U.S.
Also, most importantly our source is very concerned that Jandert is still a danger to young children- including those younger than teenager years as well.
Once again thank you to our source and hopefully this info jogs someone's memory.

I know this is an old post but he still hasn't been caught, and I was wondering if I'd be able to give some information about him anonymously because I knew him personally, I was one of the kids that went to his daycare he ran.

In light of all the new revelations we've discovered about Jandert and seeing how this is a severely underrated case in my opinion, I am making Jandert Fugitive of the Week for a second stint, and he is currently only the second fugitive on this forum to ever have that distinction. (Jandert will remain on the front page as Fugitive of the Week for the week of September 27th-October 4th, 2020).
