Macario Quintero is wanted for the homicide of his friend, 21-year old Jorge Guerra. According to Newslibrary archives, Macario was playing with a shotgun and pointed it at Jorge. Jorge knocked it away and Macario then allegedly shot Jorge to death. Macario may have then fled to Mexico.

Thoughts? As of today, January 26, 2024, Los Angeles County's court records database shows no update in Macario's custody status since a warrant was set. There is also no disposition in his case so we know for sure that he is still at large. I checked PACER and did not see a UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) case for him.
I hope that Jorge's family can get the justice and accountability they deserve.
