Selman Dominguez is wanted for a triple homicide. Selman had a long-standing dispute with 21-year old Andy Guillermo. This escalated when Andy broke the windshield of Selman's vehicle. That is when Selman allegedly shot and killed Andy, Andy's 16-year old girlfriend, Angel Lopez, and her cousin, 18-year old Johnny Rivera. Andy and Angel had a one-year old daughter who was left an orphan.
Newslibrary archives from 2003 mention that Selman was arrested in 2002 in Sinaloa, Mexico. Despite being in Mexican custody in 2003, their government refused to extradite Selman. Based on Selman's case in Los Angeles County's court records database, the judicial and warrant status is still "unresolved" (more on that below). As I will explain below, he is still at large unfortunately.
Based on crime location, it is advised to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500 if you have any information on Selman Dominguez's whereabouts.

Thoughts? As of today, March 8, 2024, Los Angeles County's court records database shows no plea, disposition and past/future proceedings for Selman's case. The only entries for the custody status are the "no bail warrant" in 1992 and 2002 (from when he was arrested in Mexico). The lack of a plea and disposition means that he was not extradited on his warrant and that he was also not prosecuted for the crime in Mexico (otherwise the California charges would have been dismissed).
A little backstory about the extradition issues. Selman was arrested in 2002 which was the time when cop-killer Armando Garcia was wanted out of Los Angeles County. That was a major story since at the time, it was not believed that he would be extradited from Mexico. Eventually that manhunt was resolved and there had been other previous extraditions from Mexico in regards to Los Angeles County fugitives. It needs to be understood that extraditions from Mexico were not a guarantee in 2002/2003 so not every Los Angeles County fugitive was going to be extradited.
Fast forward from 2003 to 2024. Since the Los Angeles County court case is still open/unresolved, I assume that Mexico eventually released Selman from their custody. Since the charges were not dismissed in California, that means the warrant is still active.
I feel that this crime is obviously horrific enough that this needs a new review from an investigative standpoint. Extraditions out of Mexico are a lot better now in 2024 versus 2003. Selman is also still extremely dangerous, so he needs to be caught and hopefully extradited and prosecuted. They would need to presumably locate Selman again which they could try to do. The families of these victims deserve justice and accountability.
