Miguel Gamez-Espinoza is wanted for the death of his two-month old daughter, Emily Gamez. Miguel brought Emily to a local hospital, where she had no heartbeat and was not breathing. Emily was revived and transported to a hospital in Houston where she later died. The autopsy revealed evidence of old and new injuries to Emily’s body. Miguel was interviewed at the hospital but then fled to Mexico.
Based on crime location, it is advised to contact Multi County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-392-7867 (STOP) if you have any information on Miguel Gamez-Espinoza's whereabouts.

Thoughts? As of today, May 30, 2024, Miguel has an active warrant in Montgomery County's warrant database. The listed charge is injury to a child, but the DA's office might update the charges once Miguel is in custody. It also might be what they feel they can prosecute Miguel for at this time. I checked PACER and did not see a UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) case for Miguel. This case appears to have been added to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Unsolved Cases PDF document either last year or this year.
I hope that there can be justice and accountability for Emily's family.
