First off, let me just tell you that I absolutely despise this eligibility of Parole after serving only A quarter or A third of one's sentence. Two-Thirds should be the bare minimum.
Cameron Hooker, if you don't know him, kidnapped 20-year old Colleen Stan in 1977 and held her as a personal sex slave for 7 years, is up for Parole in April. Hooker was sentenced to 104 years in prison for his crimes in 1985, and may be released this year after only serving a measly 30 years behind bars. Hooker is also suspected of Kidnapping and Murdering 19-year old Marie Elizabeth Spannhake in 1976, but they did not have enough evidence to try him for that horrendous crime. What do you guys think? I personally think that the idea of releasing Cameron Hooker from prison is laughable! If this is because of Prison Crowding, there are far more less-dangerous people to release.
