From mybellinghamnow.com:
SKAGIT COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A man being sought in connection with a fatal house fire near Concrete is now wanted for murder.
Mount Vernon Police say they’re now seeking 49-year-old Jason M. Birman on a warrant for three charges of 2nd Degree Murder.
He hasn’t been seen since the fire that destroyed a house on State Route 530 on August 9th. Three people, 52-year-old Erin Birman, 19-year-old Taylor Dawson, and 18-year-old Jillian Whitney Van Boven, were found dead in the rubble of the home.
Investigators determined that gunshot wounds contributed to the deaths of all three victims.
Jason Birman is Erin Birman’s husband. She was a contract employee for Skagit County. Dawson was her son and Van Boven was Dawson’s girlfriend.
Jason Birman’s 1994 Chevrolet pickup truck, Washington State registration C67636L, has also been missing since the fire was discovered. He is known to frequent both Skagit and Whatcom County and is an avid off-roader.
Anyone with information regarding Birman or the vehicle is asked to call the tipline at 360-661-2319. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that would assist investigators are asked to call the 24-hour dispatch information number (360) 428-3211 or during business hours call Mount Vernon Police at (360) 336-6271.

Thoughts? As of today’s posting date (August 20th, 2024), the case against Birman is still listed as on warrant status in Washington state’s Odyssey Portal records. Also, I am placing this case in the National Media section due to ABC News picking up the story.
