Tuesday marks two years since the Easter Sunday shooting at a party at an Airbnb on Pittsburgh's North Side.

As many as 200 people were at that party when the shooting happened. Seventeen-year-olds Jaiden Brown and Matthew Steffy-Ross were killed. Several other people were injured.

No arrests have ever been made.

An attorney for two of those injured issued a statement on the anniversary, saying, "Our clients... view today, the two-year anniversary of this tragedy, with both a sense of sadness and resolve. Sadness for the losses they and the other victims (and their families) have suffered. And resolve to remain engaged in the legal process that they must endure, and fight through, to see that justice is done — and that those responsible for this tragedy are held accountable."

"Today is a solemn day in the Northside and the city of Pittsburgh," city council member Bobby Wilson said. "The investigation is still ongoing and I’m hopefully that those responsible will be held accountable.

Thoughts? This case is being placed in the national media unsolved section because it was a mass shoring that received national publicity at the time but unfortunately like many mass shooting cases, the publicity soon faded. So much so I can’t find anything about who to call if you have information on Matthew and Jaiden’s killers but I assume police or 911 or Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers should suffice. It is ridiculous that everyone seems to have just forgotten about this case although I will admit myself is included in that.
