FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. —
Deputies are searching for a suspect after a 14-year-old was shot and killed, and another person injured in Florence County, South Carolina.
Florence County Sheriff's Office officials said the shooting happened just after midnight on Sept. 18, at the Liberty Street Apartments onDeerfield Road near Johnsonville.
Deputies said Kalebsolik Daron Singletary, 21, of Johnsonville, got out of a vehicle and shot into a parked vehicle with six people inside.
Jakari Doctor was killed in the shooting and another victim is still hospitalized, deputies said.
Yabriah Latia Lewis, 19, of Johnsonville, was arrested on Friday and charged with murder, and five counts of attempted murder in connection with the shooting. They said Lewis was driving the vehicle.
Deputies are still looking for Singletary, who they describe as 6-feet-1 inch tall and 169-pounds.
