Rigoberto Hernandez-Herrera is wanted for the homicide of Jose Arredondo. According to Newspapers.com archives, Rigoberto allegedly stabbed Jose to death during a domestic dispute. Rigoberto has been a fugitive ever since a warrant was issued for his arrest in 2013.

Thoughts? As of today, November 17, 2024, Rigoberto's 2013 homicide case in Tulare County's court records database is in open status. There have also been no filings since 2013. I checked PACER and did not see a UFAP (Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution) case for him. Rigoberto reportedly had ties to Kern County, California in 2010, according to the Newspapers.com archives. Since it's been 14 years since the homicide, I suspect that Rigoberto has likely fled to Mexico or elsewhere in Latin America.
I hope that Jose's family will get justice and accountability in their loved one's case.
