Hello and welcome to the amwfans.com forum. First, please read our ground rules before registering.
1. No personal attacks on other posters- it's ok to disagree with a poster, but please be civil.
2. No excessive language- In real life I curse like a sailor, but since this forum is read by everybody, even though this deals with serious issues, please try to keep things as PG possible.
3. No giving out false information- No posting false leads, rumors, etc. about a case.
4. No slandering the victims. This goes without saying.
Also, when it comes to registering, please answer the registration question as to why you're registering. I'm not a mind reader, and blank registrations are suspicious. While sometimes I might let a blank registration slide based on user name or e-mail address (a well known brand name's e-mail address, not e-mail server, I mean legitimate company e-mail, for example or a somewhat professional sounding registration)- I generally don't accept blank ones- which stinks both for me and you. A legitimate poster with good insights that would improve our forum won't get to post, and you also won't get to share those insights.
Also, on the rare occasion that someone is registering to say a fugitive is innocent- that is allowed- but with a few caveats- please state beforehand that's why you're registering- and that you're promising to defend the fugitive without attacking the posters or slandering the alleged victims in the case. Freedom of speech is allowed here and all fugitives are innocent until proven guilty. However, if you trick your way onto the forum in anyway (e.g. register under false pretenses) and/or are not respectful- I might still post the claims out of fairness (assuming no slander was involved)- but you as a poster will be banned automatically.
Obviously, every forum must have rules and guidelines to run smoothly but considering the serious issues we deal with I'd say it's a laid-back atmosphere when it comes to case discussion. So don't be afraid, and please do join, but please note our rules and do answer the registration question!
