Some people in this forum and elsewhere have criticized the FBI's top 10 list for having too many fugitives in countries where extradition will be difficult if not impossible, saying it makes it that much difficult to catch them. And it seems the capture of top 10 fugitives has slowed a bit recently. The below article about Edwin Rivera Gracias' addition discusses the problem, mention that six fugitives of the 7 have ties to Latin America, and seven overall have ties to overseas countries. It also mentions El Salvador, where Rivera Gracias is believed to be, made it illegal to extradite any nationals until 2000, and didn't extradite it's first fugitive until 2010. When I looked up US-extradition there are many countries the US supposedly has treaties with, but either the country doesn't extradite and/or they placed bans on extraditing nationals later, so this is a very interesting read! www.denverpost.com/breakingnews/ci_22788670/fbi-adds-jefferson-county-fugitive-national-10-most?source=rss

I just saw that he was added to the TOP 10 Most Wanted List just this week. And, I know who he is replacing, former FBI top 1oer as well as gangbanger Jose Louis Saenz. I hope that Gracias is quickly captured, just like the quick take down of former FBI TOP 10er Adam Mays (Kidnapper)

I'd love to meet John Walsh. I've met some famous people in my life, but John Walsh is not just famous but a hero to me. Glad you've joined the forum!
As for Rivera Gracias, unless he traveled back to the states, if he is in El Salvador it may take a bit of time to work with the government to locate him, but hopefully there will be cooperation if that's the case!
