The Chapel Hill Police Department is attempting to locate Celestino Gutierrez-Molina. Mr. Gutierrez-Molina is wanted for First Degree Rape and Indecent Liberties with a Minor.
The assault occurred early Sunday morning in the victim’s home. The victim is an elementary school-aged relative of Mr. Gutierrez-Molina. She sustained other injuries in the assault.
Mr. Gutierrez-Molina is 44 years old. He is 5’9” tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds. He has dark hair and a mustache. He may use the last name of Gutierrez or Molina.
If you have any information about Mr. Gutierrez-Molina’s whereabouts, please call either the Chapel Hill Police Department at 968-2760 or Crimestoppers at 942-7515. Calls to Crimestoppers are confidential and anonymous, and the caller may be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,200 for information that leads to arrest.
The above is a 2006 press release from the Chapel Hill Police Department. Celestino-Molina's case was aired on the March 3rd, 2007 episode of America's Most Wanted. Unfortunately, the archived profile no longer works to go into more details. However, I am assuming Gutierrez-Molina is still wanted since I do not see him in any NC inmate search system or sex offender registry. If anyone has proof otherwise, feel free to let us now.
In any case, although all molesters and rapists are sick people, I do feel there's an even more special place in hell for those who harm their own children or relatives. And I certainly feel Mr. Gutierrez-Molina belongs there if he's guilty of the crimes he's accused of.

UPDATE: I could find no new articles online from the past few years. As far as I can tell, Gutierrez-Molina is still at large as of this update (7/21_2018), since I couldn't find anything online to suggest otherwise. However, if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they are more than welcome to let us know.
