Molester Evades Justice
Police in Clay County, Fla. got their man on June 9, 2005 when they arrested Juan Anotonio Garcia for molesting a child.
When Garcia was convicted of his crimes in November of that year, it appeared that the justice would indeed be served.
But Garcia was a no-show for his January 4, 2006 sentencing and hasn't been seen since.
Authorities say Garcia was in the U.S. Navy at the time of the molestation. He is originally from Mexico, but has a Texas driver's license. He may also be using the alias Juan Garciafrayre.
Thoughts? The above profile was from AMW's archive. I believe Garcia was a web-exclusive. Unfortunately, not a ton of info. What I do know is allowing a guy CONVICTED of molesting a child under the age of 12 is sheer lunacy. I'm way too uncomfortable with him being on the run for nearly a decade now.
