Cops: Convicted Sex Offender Could Be Trafficking Narcotics
On Sept. 25, 2000, Peter Peroune exposed himself to a child and demanded sexual favors -- which were refused. The crime unfortunately wasn't brought to anyone's attention for some time, but Peroune was eventually arrested on Oct. 4, 2000.
Police charged him with taking indecent liberties with a child. The Henrico County Circuit Court sentenced Peroune to four years in prison, but he’d only serve eight months due to a suspended sentence. Peroune failed to register as a sex offender after his release from prison, and Virginia police issued a warrant for his arrest April 29, 2004.
For six years, Peroune has managed to evade arrest. Police believe he has a large social network spanning from as far south as West Palm Beach, Fla., all the way to New York, N.Y. Detectives also believe Peroune might be trafficking narcotics up and down the East Coast.

The archive is also a bit old as obviously it's now been over a decade with Peroune on the run. On the surface, he doesn't seem that hard to catch. But of course, if he is involved in the drug trade up and down the East Coast that does make it harder as he is not staying in one location.
