Who to call if you've seen him: Based on wanted location, our advice would be to call Portland, Maine Police's anonymous tip line at 207-874-8584. You can also submit a web tip to them at the following link: www.tipsubmit.com/WebTips.aspx?AgencyID=797&HR=http://www.tipsoft.com/index.aspx?p=webtips
Faarah Iiman has been aired at least four times on AMW. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the reason he got some many airings was he was a "50 States/50 Fugitives" case for the state of Maine. Below is the archive description of his case:
Maine Cops: Man Shot Friend Over Video Games
In December 2007, police say 19-year-old Faarah Aamir Iiman noticed that his video game console was missing and immediately assumed someone stole it. Portland, Maine, cops say Iiman was desperate to get it back and took his anger out on the first person he could think of.
Iiman is accused of aiming his gun at a friend and warned him that if the Playstation wasn't returned soon, he would be a dead man.
Just a few days later, Iiman was done waiting. Investigators say he shot his friend in the torso and left him to die. Iiman fled on foot and hasn't been seen since -- neither has the purloined Playstation.
The victim sustained significant injuries to several major organs and was taken the hospital. After several days of recovery, he was listed in stable condition.
Iiman faces charges of elevated aggravated assault. He is also charged with theft for stealing $1,000 to go on the run. Police believe he may be hiding in Canada, Ohio or Minnesota.
Thoughts? This obviously belongs in the senseless crimes hall of fame. To kill a guy over a frigging Playstation. It's almost to the point where nothing surprises me anymore even though a case like this should.
Iiman's possible locations are all listed in the U.S., but he is a Somali native. So I do wonder if he could have fled back there. If not, a community in Canada or elsewhere in the U.S. with a decent Somali population makes sense.

UPDATE: Aside from the AMW archives, I could not find anything recent online about the manhunt for Iiman. As far as I can tell, he is still at large as of this update (7/21/2018) since I haven't found anything online suggesting otherwise. However, if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they are always more than welcome to let us know.
