Just thought I should let you guys know that I'll be on vacation from the 27th to Apr 1st. I'll be with my father in Washington D.C. and likely won't have access to a computer. I hope to see many updates on cases when I return.

Forgot to ask, did you see the AMW crime center? Would love for you to share with us if you did!

Forgot to ask, did you see the AMW crime center? Would love for you to share with us if you did! Yes I did. The filming studios had been converted into a children's workshop to learn about crime-solving techniques. The stairs leading down to the crime center had a wall full of the faces of some of the fugitives AMW's caught (Stephen Anderson, Arturo Aguilar & Malaika Griffin were there among many others). There were some of the awards AMW and John Walsh received over the years in a glass case. There was also the green screen where some of the filming was done, in front of it was a listing of the show's Top 10 captures (David James Roberts, John List, Margaret Rudin, Kathleen Soliah, Edward James, Angel Resendiz-Ramirez, John Hawkins) were the ones listed that I can recall off the top of my head. In the forensics part of the museum (I think it was the forensics part) there were the busts of AMW captures John List and Florencia Gooding. Another section contained the wanted posters of the current FBI 10 MW Fugitives (along with a little print-out of a news article mentioning Edwin Gracias's surrender).

Sounds awesome! I was thinking of taking a mini-vacation of three or four days to DC this year(I usually go for a week to another city but this may be a compromise since I may not have time this year). Definitely sounds like I should stop by.. I also liked how you learned of Edwin Gracias' capture! Turns out even though you were away AMW still let you know.
