Child Predator Caught On Tape
The FBI has uncovered another child predator on the Internet. This time, instead of still pictures, they say the suspect created a disturbing video of himself molesting a baby. Agents want to bring him in before he does any more damage to this child or to any other children he may come in contact with.
"John Doe" Warrant Issued
A tipster reported the video to a detective in Florida, and investigators were able to obtain a "John Doe" warrant charging this suspect with the distribution of visual depictions, via interstate commerce, of a minor engaging in explicit sexual conduct. The FBI wants the public to know that the suspect could be anywhere in the United States, and just because they were able to obtain the warrant in Florida doesn't mean the suspect resides there.
Police don't know this man's name, but there is a clear picture of the side of his face, a shot of a large scar on his right arm, and a picture of his left hand with a ring. He could be married.
Investigators say because of the length of the video, they think the suspect knows his victim well. They hope he can be put behind bars before he hurts any more children.
Thoughts? The above was from the AMW archive. AMW was very successful in identifying and capturing internet John Does, and John Doe #8 is one of the few they never caught. Perhaps it's because he was only a break-four tease on the show, but there are some very good clues to identifying him, mainly the large mark, and possible scar on his right forearm.
A website says the FBI sent letters asking dermatologists across the country to alert them if they see this scar. The person who wrote the article asks if they went too far. In my opinion, heck no. I take it having a mark like that is pretty rare so on the off-chance anyone reading this is a dermatologist, keep this guy in mind.
