I re-watched the Unsolved Mysteries broadcast on the Amazon Prime Robert Stack version. One thing interesting I don't think we've brought up is apparently his wife told him something about being washed up or something like that which probably added to his explosion of rage when he didn't get a promotion. This is also indicates to me a guy that wouldn't kill himself over a wife that would belittle him in that way. (Of course, she didn't deserve to get murdered). The children perhaps he would feel guilt over, but perhaps they were just unfortunate "collateral damage" in his sick mind. Apparently it wasn’t just his wife, it was also his mother who would belittle him as was said on his Episode of The Hunt in Season 1 and even his wife considered getting a job which she would have begun the day after the murders (if I’m not mistaken) and Bishop’s mother Loebelia considered helping the family out financially. John Walsh even said that Bishop is the type of guy that if he was just not okay with being a 1 Star son, husband, & father, then maybe he would be make a better 5 Star Fugitive.

Oh right it was implied his mother belittled him as well (perhaps even worse than his wife). It's just since there's still some debate about whether or not Bishop killed himself- the only thing he could have possibly killed himself over imo was his children. His mother and wife I don't think would make him commit suicide.

That is a likely possibility..... also adding to the fact that the kids the youngest being 5 wouldn’t know how to process financial problems since they were innocent and did no harm.

You know, I have wondered over the years if he was suffering from Meningitis when he left work that day. Roy Harrell said he was complaining of flu-like symptoms, and the flu can mimic meningitis (i.e. very high fever, muscle pains, headaches). Meningitis, though, can cause an altered mental state. I'm in no way justifying what he did, but I think it's certainly a possibility. Darren Mack, who was profiled on the show after shooting a Judge in Nevada, apparently suffered from it at some point, and his family members worried that caused brain damage.

I think we should start saying our farewells to Bishop being on the Ten Most Wanted as the FBI just tucked him away at the very bottom, either they have possibly located him too, but this could also signal the beginning of the end for Bishop as what happened with Victor Gerena and Semion Mogilevich which would eventually lead to a removal. Also it wouldn’t surprise me if Greg Carlson and Antwon Mims were both added to the Ten Most Wanted soon.

Goodbye Top Ten Fugitive Brad Bishop, Mims has taken your spot.

And right on cue, Bishop has been removed from the top ten list so I will be moving him to the regular fugitives on TV (before 1980) section. Normally this wouldn't be that big a shocker, but the fact that it happened a day after Ravelo was caught is a bit of a surprise.
Hopefully the FBI can still one day find Bishop dead or alive but I agree with their move to make the list more recent.

According to the livestream of the press conference on Mims Addition to the list, it was stated that Bishop was removed because law enforcement officials don’t consider him a threat right now and there haven’t been any recent tips, so with that said, Mims took the spot.

Yep, just like with Glen Godwin.

I feel this was the right call. With all due respect to the investigators who over the past 40 years have been trying to get a resolution in this horrible case, I feel at this rate this case may be "closed/solved" similar to what happened with Donald Eugene Webb.

Question: Do you all think they have found some evidence indicating Bishop is dead? Or was it based off of a dry-up of leads? Either way, it’s sad to see that in all likelihood, this monster will never be brought to justice for his horrific crimes.

I think perhaps the huge publicity was by design and they may have added him with the intention of removing him in a few years if he still wasn't located (basically a last-ditch effort).
It is sad to think he possibly got away with it- although I do think there is karma and we have no idea how happy Bishop's life on the run- if he did go on the run- is.

They did say during Mims press conference this morning that Bishop was removed because he isn’t a threat right now and because there haven’t been any recent tips on him.
